When you enquire about, book, or use taxi services through AK Roadtrippers (via our website, telephone dispatch, or WhatsApp), we collect only the necessary information to coordinate and fulfill your journeys safely:
- Contact Details: Full name, mobile phone number, WhatsApp number, and email address.
- Trip Specifications: Exact pickup address, drop-off destination, transit stops, travel dates, pickup time, and preferred vehicle model (Sedan, Ertiga, Innova, Crysta, Tempo Traveller).
- Communication Logs: Customer support messages, special luggage or child seat requests, and driver feedback.
- Device & Technical Telemetry: Anonymized browser type, operating system, and IP address collected automatically via server logs to optimize website load speeds.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is collected strictly for lawful, operational, and customer service purposes:
Trip Fulfillment
Dispatching drivers, sharing car numbers, and ensuring accurate pickup time at Madurai railway station, airport, or hotel.
Trip Invoicing & Billing
Generating transparent toll receipts, parking breakdown, interstate permit charges, and tax invoices.
24/7 Safety Monitoring
Verifying passenger safety during night journeys and coordinating emergency road assistance if required.
Quality Assurance
Evaluating driver etiquette, car cleanliness, and honoring repeat customer loyalty discounts.
3. Location Privacy & Route Tracking
During active trips (such as Madurai to Kodaikanal, Munnar, Rameswaram, or airport transfers), driver GPS telematics may be referenced to estimate arrival times and optimize route navigation around traffic or construction.
We do NOT continuously track passenger mobile devices outside the scope of pickup navigation. Once your journey concludes, real-time driver tracking for your trip terminates immediately.
5. Payment Security
Payments for AK Roadtrippers rides can be processed via Direct UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Net Banking, or Direct Cash to the driver upon trip completion.
We do not collect, process, or store credit/debit card numbers or bank account passwords on our servers. All digital transactions occur through certified, encrypted UPI banking apps.
7. Passenger Rights & Data Retention
You have the right to request access to the personal records stored with us, update incorrect phone numbers or addresses, or request the deletion of your booking history from our dispatch database by contacting our office.
